Disneyland Adventure - Day 7

Day seven at Disneyland was especially special because Nana, Oma, and Papa T were along for the fun! The kids were really pumped to show their grandparents all the cool rides and attractions they had discovered during the week.

We started the day with breakfast at the Grand California Hotel, and then proceeded to the California Adventures, where we immediately rode the giant Ferris wheel (on full tummies)! Urgh! No puking (luckily), but I was white knuckles all the way. We fast-passed California Screaming, and rode a bunch of other fun rides - including Ryder's favorite - Soaring Over California. We popped into the "flight school" gift shop after the ride, and bought Mazlow a neato authentic bomber jacket (olive outside with bright orange inside) for his birthday.

We ate popcorn, and went to see the Bear In The Big Blue House live show (which Mazzy was SUPER into - but it put Papa T to sleep.) The kids LOVED the "Turtle Talk" interactive show with Crush (from Finding Nemo) where the totally cool turtle talks to kids in the audience and answers their questions (DUDE!).

We always tease Ryder that he looks like Chicken Little, and today he got to meet the cute little chicken with glasses, and get his autograph. Landin wasn't as impressed, but it was a big deal for Ry.

We stuck around California adventures for the Block Party parade - and had a blast dancing in the streets. We finished off the day at the Magic Kingdom with a spin around Autotopia, Peter Pan, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, several rounds of Astro Blasters and dinner at Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Port.
