Happy 30th Birthday Brice!!!
After all was said and done, the best part of the night was that Brice was surrounded by good friends, and everyone had a great time.
Happy Birthday Brice! We LOVE you!!
This is a blog about raising three boys in Northern Idaho, from the perspective of a Mom and a Dad, with occasional posts from the boys themselves.
After all was said and done, the best part of the night was that Brice was surrounded by good friends, and everyone had a great time.
Happy Birthday Brice! We LOVE you!!
You know it's a good party when you break-out the "Little Whizzer"!
For Brice's 21st Birthday he got the "Little Whizzer," a battery-operated alcohol dispenser in the shape of a boy peeing from a pedestal (in a classy, artsy kind of depiction - okay, not so classy, but art-like).
So during the party, at some point, we decide to break-out the "Little Whizzer" which hasn't seen the light of day for years, but I had just happen to come across it when getting out decorations for Brice's party.
Brice fills it with some scary liquor and promises the first shot to his friend Jason, but alas - - the Little Whizzer has stage fright. Jason and Brice believe the issue to be one of batteries, and swiftly change the double-A's, but to no avail. So, Jason (AKA Mr. Fix It) goes at the Little Whizzer with a screwdriver and a headlamp (remember the room was lit by candlelight), which was a sight to see in itself. In the end, the Little Whizzer never did get over his stage fright. But that didn't stop Brice and the boys from up-ending Little Whizzer and pouring his contents into shot glasses anyways. You gotta love the Little Whizzer!
I put together a game for the party using pictures of Brice over the last 30-years, and challenged people to put the pictures in the correct order: Brice got a slew of hilarious gag gifts, but his favorite gift of all was a Berretta from his "pal" Jason (Thanks Jas! - said Brice's wife, her voice dripping with sarcasm):The kids and I got Brice a new 80G video iPod for his birthday - but clearly an iPod that plays movies and music is nothing compared to a GUN!
In celebration of Brice's big day, I pasted his face on every can and bottle of beer that we served...
Here is just a sampling of the Brice Beer Labels that adorned the beer that was consumed over the course of the evening:
I did pay attention though to the women who snagged the bottles with pictures of Brice in the pool...
The food for the party was seperated into two rooms: One bright and colorful "regaining your youth through food" room, and one " Sophisticated Eats for the mature palate" room.
Here are some pictures of the Youthful Food:
For each of the food items, I made a sign tying it back to Brice's youth... afterall these are most of his favorites (except for the boons - that was for the ladies).
Here is the invitation that we sent out for Brice's party:

I'm 6 1/2 -months along now carrying "Baby Beckham" and the boys love to rub my belly (like I'm a Buddha), talk to Beckham, and give him belly kisses.
Our trip to the water park had me in a two-piece bathing suit with my belly exposed and ripe for kisses.
Landin puts his cheek up against my belly so that Beckham can give him a brotherly kick in the face - - BOYS! Once he gets one he thanks Beckham with a kiss:
Ryder thinks he has to talk really loud so that Beckham can hear him... Here he is screaming his message to the babyMazlow is the most gentle of all when it comes to my belly. He gives my belly a gentle pat and lays a light kiss on me. He's going to be a fine big brother. The boys surround their mama Thank goodness Beckham is a BOY too!... that leaves me as the sole female in the household - an enviable position ;-)
