Operation 8th Birthday Party: Tug-O-War

The second game at the party was a Tug-O-War.

We lined up the boys tallest to shortest and divided them up as evenly as possible into two teams.

We lined them up on either side of a long rope, tied a bandana in the middle and marked off the point not to cross on the ground with a big pile of rocks.

Ready, Set, TUG!

The kids put some serious blood, sweat, and tears (literally I might add) into this Tug-O-War, so it was a shame there had to be a winner and a loser. For the most part they were good sports though, and I was proud to see how hard they were trying.

Each of the kids received a cool wristband for their efforts, which seemed to waylay all complaints. Off to the next game!
