Christmas Eve (Morning)

We had such a busy day on Christmas Eve, it all won't fit into one post! Here is what our morning looked like...

We started the day early, having to be at church for the 8:30am service because Brice and I were scheduled to work in the nursery for the 9:45 and 11:30 gatherings.

So we dressed the kids in their Sunday best and were off! Mazlow was dressed in his cute little santa suit:

While Landin and Ryder were wearing ties:

At church, we had someone try to snap a picture of the whole family (never can get everyone looking at the same time):

After church we had plans to drop by a friends house in town, but with an hour to kill before we had to be there, and our tummys rumbling (especially mine) we decided to make a quick pit stop at McDonalds and grab some greese (not a new Christmas Eve tradition by any stretch of the imagination). The kids thought it was a great treat, and I have to admit, those fries tasted pretty good at the time! With his Santa Suit on, Mazzy looked color coordinated with Ronald McDonald:

After lunch at Mickey D's, we headed over to our friend's house to exchange gifts. The kids played and we sampled some of Jenn's fabulous baking (yummy!)

When we got home, Landin's buddy Avery came by to drop some stuff off, and took the kids for a couple spins around the yard on his snow mobile. Thank goodness for the White Christmas that made playing outside such a treat!

By then, it was nearing the late afternoon, and we hadn't even started decorating our gingerbread cookies...
